According to report of provincial tax authority, from beginning of this year, 2,614 new firms that have come into operation with a total registered capital of over 17,000 billion VND. In which, there are 2,591 domestic invested enterprises with total investment capital of 16,082 billion VND and 23 foreign invested enterprises with total FDI capital of 959 billion VND. Compared with the same period last year, the number of new enterprises put into operation increased by 26.4%, registered capital increased by 18.1%. Particularly in FDI sector, the number of enterprises equals 41.8% compared to the same period last year, the registered capital equals 37.7%.
Sectors and fields that had new enterprises put into production during this period were: Processing and manufacturing (855 enterprises, with 5,738 billion VND of capital, 13,197 employees); construction (414 enterprises, 3,112 billion VND of capital, 2,529 employees; wholesale, retail, repair of automobiles, motorcycles, mopeds and other motor vehicles (1,376 enterprises, 6,027 billion VND of capital, 7,711 employees); transportation and warehousing (163 enterprises, 607 billion VND of capital, 1,016 employees); real estate business (256 enterprises, 10,497 billion VND of capital, 2,546 employees).
