The Government has issued Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP on solutions to stimulate the auxiliary industrial development. The target until 2030 was that products of auxiliary industry would meet 70% of demand for domestic production and consumption, accounting for about 14% of industrial production value. There would be about 2,000 enterprises that are capable of providing directly for assembly businesses and multinational corporations in Vietnam.
Specific objective until the end of 2025 in field of spare parts, the development of metal parts, plastic-rubber parts, and electric-electronic parts and components was to supply and meet 45% demand of industrial production in Vietnam. By 2030, to meet 65% of domestic demand, to stimulate the production of products serving the high-tech industry. Auxiliary industry serving textile-leather shoes production set the target until 2025 as follow: domestic supply rate of the textile industry to reach 65%, leather and footwear industry to reach 75-80% with products having high added value for export. Auxiliary industry serving high-tech industry, development of raw materials production, specialized assisting devices, software and services strive to form enterprises for machinery maintenance and repairing to meet international standards, paving the way for the development of equipment and software manufacturers.
