The turning of new rural areas

The determination of the local authority and the joint efforts of the people have caused the rural districts in the province to have achieved encouraging outcome in implementing environmental criteria, contributing to the construction and development of sustainable new rural areas.

The green models

In rural districts, everywhere on fields, gardens, and village roads appears the images of green trees shading and colorful flower gardens. Canals are dredged; waste is collected, classified and treated to minimize pollution, making Binh Duong’s rural environment greener, cleaner, and more eye-catching along with visible elevated people’s livehood.

The models of residential areas meeting the green and aesthetic manner in Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao district, and Dau Tieng district with flowers, self-managing cleanliness, dumping site being transformed to flowery gardens, and countryside murals to say no to rubbish have recently emerged in the countryside of Binh Duong as the practical models of environment protection.

Locals are frequently called upon to protect the environment from their most trivial actions of collecting daily trash orderly and planting and caring for local green.

Mr. Nguyen Buu Hiep, a resident living on Doc Dai road of Hamlet 2A, Phuoc Hoa commune, Phu Giao district, said: "Thanks to the propaganda and mobilization of the local authorities, people have gradually changed their awareness of environmental protection. Each family is self-conscious in collecting and classifying waste. The roads and canals are regularly cleaned;the environment is improved; and the health of the people is also enhanced."

Greenification

Not only do orchards bring about economic values, they but also contribute to environmental protection to create a green landscape. Understanding the market demand and consumer trends, farmers are increasingly raising their awareness and applying good production processes in agriculture to create clean products, reduce costs, save energy, and irrigate water. At the same time, they aim to reducing soil and water resource pollution by using advanced technologies to address and control environmental pollution.
