Five new cooperatives were established in the agricultural sector across the entire province during the first half of 2024. Thus, the province has 89 agricultural cooperatives with 1,183 members, a charter capital of 247,106 million VND, and 180 cooperative groups of agricultural production with 1,511 members. All cooperatives and cooperative groups operate stably and gain high economic efficiency, contributing to the overall economic development of the province.
Cooperatives in the province regularly take part in trade fairs to connect trade between suppliers and businesses to find stable consumer markets.
There are 942 farms in the province. The farming sector includes 159 farms, the livestock sector 782 farms, and a single farm dedicated to aquaculture covering an area of more than 2,900 hectares. Therefore, this has contributed to the job creation of 6,807 local regular workers.
