Over 5 implementation years of Conclusion No. 43-KL/ TU dated 7 Dec 2016 of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee on the Plan for developing high-quality services of Thu Dau Mot City in 2016-2020 period, local healthcare service sector gained remarkable results. Accordingly, 100% wards meet national criteria of healthcare, have available doctors, quarters have community health workers. In addition, the city has also been building a number of inter-ward medical centers to ensure criteria of area and equipment to serve the increasing demand of the current population growth in the city.
On the other hand, in Thu Dau City, a number of private hospitals and clinics were established and developed with modern medical equipment. The city has developed 260 medical examination and treatment facilities, 285 private pharmaceutical facilities, 3 pharmaceutical trading and storage companies. The aforementioned private medical facilities have contributed to better supporting and serving the demand for medical examination and treatment of people.
