Final part: efforts of building works
2015 takes place many important events and is also the time that Thu Dau Mot city must focus on perfecting many works of technical infrastructure, socio-culture, turning the city into the 1st class urban area. To complete this task, Thu Dau Mot city People’s Committee asked functional agencies and relevant units to raise responsibility and spur cooperation between agencies and sectors and community in a bid to ensure quality of works and promote investment efficiency.
Focusing on compensation and site clearance
Work on compensation and site clearance is considered as a very important task for Thu Dau Mot city leaders. According to Thu Dau Mot city project management board, the board is in 2015 assigned 69 projects, capitalized at VND698bil, relating to fields of technical infrastructure, socio-culture.
Specifically, these projects include Tuong Binh Hiep primary and secondary school, Sunflower pre-school, Sao Mai pre-school, extended Bach Dach road, Tran Van On street and more. These works are designed to ensure technique and urban beauty. Till the end of the first quarter of 2015, 15% of work volume will be completed. At present, these works have been disbursed VND110bil, accounting for 12% of the total investment capital of works in 2015.
Nguyen Van Hiep, director of Thu Dau Mot city project management board said compensation and site clearance are a very crucial work. In addition, the board in cooperation with agencies and mass bodies solves difficulties and shortcomings of relevant units and simultaneously makes efforts to launch projects in time.
Ensuring progress and quality of works
Hiep added that functional agencies consider and assess capacity of contractors, aside from transparency and publicity of tender.
Moreover, investors always spur inspections to assure quality and technique of works, promote role of inspection consultancy as well as ensure environmental hygiene. Investors will also enhance consultancy units’ responsibilities and simultaneously set out proper measures to finalize works in time. In addition, the investors will rapidly disburse capital for contractors to promote efficiency of investment.
In the first quarter of 2015, Thu Dau Mot city project management board has saved more than VND277mil for the State budget. More importantly, there are no works violating regulations of quality and technique and more.
