Thuan An City's total retail sales of goods and service revenue reach VND 43,250 billion

According to Economic Office of Thuan An City, the city's total retail sales of goods and services in 2021 is estimated at 75,620 billion VND, up 4.02% over the same period last year. The city has 32,843 individual business households in commercial and service sectors, 5 supermarkets, 3 commercial centers, namely Aeon, Minh Sang Plaza and Lotte. Besides, the city has 22 markets according to planning, of which 2 markets are Lai Thieu and Bung managed by People's Committee of Lai Thieu and An Thanh wards, 1 market operates under the cooperative model, and 19 non-public markets, 56 convenience stores.

Recently, Economic Office of Thuan An City has coordinated with the City Police, Market Management Team No. 2 have checked and warned 50 retailers at Bung market, Lai Thieu market, and Bach Hoa Xanh convenience stores to carry out correctly listing prices and selling at listed prices. In addition, the office coordinated with People's Committees of communes and wards, management boards of markets, supermarkets and commercial centers to stabilize the market and prevent control the Covid-19 according to the instructions of the City People's Committee and Provincial Department of Industry and Trade. In 2022, the city will strive for a total retail sales of goods and services of over VND 93,000 billion, an increase of 23% compared to 2021.
