Thuan An town is a locality with high population growth. The birth of industrial parks in the town has absorbed a large number of laborers from localities nationwide. Hence, leaders of the town have always paid attention to meeting pupils’ demand for schools and classrooms in each new academic year.
Works on education built
In 2019, Thuan An town has 15 projects on infrastructure construction for education. Among them, there are 8 from construction lottery capital, namely An Thanh primary school, Binh Chuan secondary school, Ly Thai To high school and 5 under construction, comprising of Nguyen Trung Truc secondary school for the phase 2, Tuy An primary school…
The town also has 5 projects on education funded by the province’s capital together with 2 projects from salary innovation capital. In terms of capital arranged on criteria, there are 5 projects under construction. For example, the project of Hoa Cuc 6 preschool in Vinh Phu ward has a total capital of more than VND84billion with national standards. The project is built to implement the province’s policy on perfecting material facilities for the local sector of education and training.
So far, 80% of the project’s construction volume has been completed. The town’s Investment Project Management Board has strived to fulfill the progress of construction of the work ahead of the 2019-2020 new academic year.
Supervising and speeding up construction of works as planned
In 2019, Thuan An town’s plan on public investment is arranged more than VND264.8billion on 60 projects, including 2 works on education with total investment of VND48billion.
As planned, the town will effectively realize policies on investment with priority for works on education-training while further calling for socialization in investment capital in education. Nguyen Xuan Khoi, Head of the town’s Investment Project Management Board said that the Management Board will further press consulting units to opportunely deal with obstacles to carry out projects with progress and quality ensured. It will also tighten control over works under construction, aiming to guarantee their quality and effectiveness.
