For example, Thien Hung Technology Co.Ltd. in An Phu ward innovated its production line by a CNC plasma cutter with the model of SPC-2060 with total cost of more than VND 907million, including VND200million from the town’s industrial promotion program. Or, Nghe Nang Industries Co.Ltd. spent more than VND582million on equipping its branch in An Thanh ward with a duct forming machine. Of the total cost, VND200million came from the local industrial promotion program.
Truong Cong Thach, Deputy Head of Thuan An town’s Division of Economics said that over the past years, private economy contributing to mobilizing social resources for the local production-business, creating more jobs, improving the lives of locals and increasing the local State budget. Ho Hoang Diem, the owner of Sumi cake production facility in Vinh Phu ward said that thanks to the attention and support of the local administration, provincial and local Industrial Promotion Centers, her facility was equipped with the state-of-the-art machines for production. This helped the facility improve the quality and quantity of products at market’s demand.
She added that the facility generated around 500 cakes an hour in the past. But now, with the state-of-the-art machines, it can make 4,000 cakes an hour.
Keenness with the market
In the face of severe competition in the market, Hung Thai Co.Ltd., which is specialized in making wooden clogs for export in Binh Nham ward, has bravely invested in the state-of-the-art machines to improve the quality of products and regularly made new products.
Since early this year, the company’s export activities have continued getting stability. It is known that every batch, the company exports more than 120,000 pairs of wooden clogs into Europe, Japan, Taiwan…with total revenue of around US$1.2million. The company now generates jobs for more than 100 workers with the average income of VND7million-VND10million per person per month.
Possibly seeing, private economy has greatly contributed to the local development. In the first nine months of the year, the town’s industrial production value was estimated at more than VND168.1trillion, a year-on-year increase of 8%. Of these, more than VND51trillion came from domestic enterprises. Some industries of food-beverage processing, footwear, woodwork…gained high growth.
For FDI enterprises, their industrial production value was estimated at more than VND117.1trillion or 69.4% of the local industrial production value over the past nine months.
