In the first 6 months 2018, Thuan An town granted 129 certificates of land use rights, ownership of houses and assets attached to land with a total area of 8,097ha and 1,539 construction permits. The town’s agencies inspected 898 cases, sanctioned 109 violations with a total fine of VND1.5 billion. In addition, the town set up procedures for bidding for garbage collection, transportation and treatment services in the last 6 months of 2018; contracted to transport and handle about 78,000 tons of domestic waste (up 7,000 tons compared with the same period in 2017); collected total charges of VND2.34 billion from private garbage collection groups.
Thuan An completed the land statistics in 2017 of the town and 10 communes and wards. The town continued to strengthen the state management of land, construction, strict management of separation of land use rights, land donation for road building; monitored, directed, timely handled illegal sales of land plots.
