According to Binh Duong Customs Department, to continue to shorten the time of customs clearance, release of goods, create favorable conditions for enterprises, provincial customs will continuously monitor, analyse and evaluate the average time of customs clearance of professional stages to timely have solutions, immediately correct shortcomings, ensure the clearance, release of goods to be faster.
Recently, Binh Duong Customs Department also announced the measuring result of customs clearance time in 2019. For export declaration, the average time was 01:17:00 and the import declaration time was 14:40:45. This is quite a short time compared to the criteria on customs clearance time of cross-border cargo proposed in the customs reforming, developing and modernizing plan in period 2016-2020. The criteria were attached to Decision No. 1614/QD-BTC dated 19 July 2016 of Ministry of Finance, the customs clearance times were under 36 hours for exports, under 41 hours for imports.
