According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, along with the socio-economic development, the commercial and service infrastructure system has received good investment to form a modern business environment that well serve people needs. Up to now, the province has 106 conventional markets, 3 shopping centers, and 11 supermarkets.
In particular, the market stabilization work has been implemented effectively, essential goods have been guaranteed, distribution system from the province to districts, towns and cities has been well managed. The number of enterprises participating in the market stabilization program increases every year with an abundant and diversified goods. In particular, the campaign "Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods" achieved important results, contributing to the development of commodity market, facilitating production and business activities. Vietnamese goods win a large market share and has created consumer confidence in Vietnamese quality, design and price.
Investment and trade promotion activities were done synchronously by the authorities, contributing to practically supporting the production and business activities of enterprises. The content of free trade agreements signed by Vietnam is quickly conveyed to departments, branches, localities and enterprises. The trade industry branch has been deploying e-commerce platforms, business support program in applying e-commerce, encouraged small and medium-sized enterprises in the province to install smart sales software... Trade promotion activities are strengthening its effectiveness and supporting businesses to expand their distribution systems. The cooperation programs, goods supply and demand connecting programs between Binh Duong and other localities after many implementation years have strongly spread, contributing to creating a diversified supply of good products for consumers.

According to Mai Hung Dung, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, in the next period, Binh Duong will focus on investment attraction in high-quality commerce and services in order to form a new face of the province, creating an important strength for the development of the southern key economic region by linking industry, urban and service together.
Recently, at the conference to announce the project of Binh Duong Innovation Region, Nguyen Van Hung, Directors Board's Chairman of Becamex IDC, said about a great advantage for the development of commerce - services today, World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC BDNC) has been recognized as a membership of World Trade Centers Association. This helps Binh Duong become a global trade service integrated center that will attract partners, investors, human resources, intellectuals, facilitating the formation of an international trade ecosystem, connecting trade and commerce in the whole region... In particular, WTC BDNC will be an important driving force for Binh Duong to develop e-commerce, which is a trend that is exploding after the Covid-19. Becamex IDC will soon start construction of this iconic project in 2020.
In order to develop into a connecting and innovating urban area in Binh Duong, areas in the province continue to give priority to developing commercial areas; invest in the development and expand infrastructure to meet the development needs. With its functions and duties, in the new period, Department of Industry and Trade will enhance the commercial infrastructure development; continue to implement solutions to develop high-quality services, logistics services, and e-commerce. The department also implements solutions to enhance capability for international economic integration, improve the competitiveness of Binh Duong's exported goods; strengthen state management in trade defense, commercial fraud, prevention of smuggling, production and trading of counterfeit goods in the province.
