Promoting products, searching for markets, and gaining consumer trust for small and medium-sized enterprises is always a challenging issue. In the context of deepening international economic integration, supporting local product outlets becomes increasingly significant.

Diversified products of Binh Duong

In recent years, thanks to the promotion, increased awareness, and responsibility in using Vietnamese products, consumers have trusted and actively consumed domestically produced goods. In the journey of supporting businesses in bringing products to the market, the Investment Promotion and Development Center, Department of Industry and Trade has implemented a program to raise community awareness, promote products, so that Vietnamese goods in general, and Binh Duong goods in particular, continue to affirm their position, expand the consumer market. The focus and priority of propaganda and promotion is to make the message of prioritizing Vietnamese products in consumer choices become familiar and practical. Thanks to the enhanced propaganda, promotion, introduction, and improved quality of local products, consumers have gained more trust and made their choices.

According to the evaluation of the industry and trade sector, currently, the distinctive products of Binh Duong province have high quality and competitiveness. Enterprises, industrial production establishments, and small industrial households in the province have focused on investing in technology lines, developing new products, promoting and introducing products, enhancing competitiveness for products.

On the market, consumers are no longer unfamiliar with products such as raw swallow nests from Hieu Hang Company, Kim Long netted melons (in Phu Giao district), hydroponic lettuce, and Kiet Tuong chili pepper (in Ben Cat city). Many products with local characteristics have also become consumer products for a large number of people inside and outside the province, such as durian, pink pomelo (in Bac Tan Uyen district), and sweet pomelo with orange leaves (in Tan Uyen city). In addition, there are also processed food products that are friendly to health and have become familiar to consumers such as pomelo wine, pomelo shampoo (in Bac Tan Uyen district), Da Loc flower wine, and sticky rice wine (in Ben Cat city). Some products, although newly appeared on the market, are increasingly trusted and used, such as Phu My A sausage and Tan Hiep An cordyceps products (in Thu Dau Mot city).

For the trust in Vietnamese commodity

It can be said that, thanks to promoting propaganda, raising community awareness, products manufactured in the province have come closer to consumers. The goods participating in promotion and introduction are mostly from enterprises, production facilities of characteristic goods, OCOP, typical rural industrial products, with advantages and potential in the province. Participating in trade promotion programs, the units have provided information on the current situation and potential for production and business of products, helping to increase the ripple effect to a large number of consumers, contributing to boosting the consumption of products of the province and attracting investment for production and business activities.

According to Mr. Le Ba Linh, Director of Tư Bốn Fine Lacquerware Co., Ltd., participating in trade fairs and exhibitions both within the province and abroad is not only an opportunity for industries, localities, and businesses to discuss and share experiences and difficulties in the production and business process, but also to propose effective forms of promotion and advertising to bring products closer to domestic consumers. At the same time, businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities propose some solutions, support policies, incentives to promote product consumption.

Most of the units and businesses participating in the program all hope to continue to receive support from the Department of Industry and Trade for promotion and advertising of products. The forms of promotion are increasingly diverse to enhance effectiveness, such as promoting at trade fairs, markets, and supply-demand connection conferences domestically. At the same time, support for investment in advanced machinery and equipment so that businesses have the conditions to produce quality products to meet the shopping needs of consumers. The leader of the Department of Industry and Trade believes that this desire is justified and is calling on units to continue improving the quality of products, diversifying access to information channels so that Vietnamese goods can attract the attention and interest of consumers.

According to Ms. Phan Thi Khanh Duyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, the products manufactured in the province are increasingly diverse in design, packaging, and quality, gaining trust and attention from consumers. This result is the very positive contribution of departments, committees, sectors, and localities in the province in promoting and mobilizing enterprises to focus on investing in high-quality machinery, equipment for manufacturing goods at reasonable prices. In addition to meeting consumer demand in the market, the product is also being introduced on e-commerce platforms, in supermarkets, and large distributors. When the output is ensured, it will lead to stable production, helping businesses and cooperatives, and production facilities to increasingly develop.

In the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to support enterprises, production facilities to develop new products, focusing on the distinctive products of the locality in various sectors. Enterprises, facilities, households need to continue to promote their capacity, efficiently exploit local resources and potential, strengths of the locality to develop products to address employment for workers, contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
