To implement free customs declaration software for businesses

According to the Provincial Customs Department, in order to help the business community overcome difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19, the customs branch has provided free customs declaration software for businesses.

Previously, the customs authority implements free software under the VNACCS/VCIS automatic clearance system, but with this software, businesses must download, install and have appropriate equipment. The new customs declaration software will be centrally installed at the General Department of Customs, have a declaration web address, businesses only need an internet-connected device to be able to access it and declare without investment in machinery and equipment as well as licensing costs for third-party software.

In addition, this free customs declaration software will be updated to meet new requirements. Thus, in addition to the benefit of cost reduction, businesses and people will soon approach and proactively respond to changes in the customs industry as implementing a digital customs system and a smart customs model.

The Provincial Customs Department is accelerating the reform of administrative procedures, modernize customs, facilitate import and export activities, reduce customs clearance time, and strive to support the business community.
