Recently, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee has issued a master plan to improve productivity based on science, technology, and innovation in Binh Duong province in 2021-2030. The goal is to make productivity an important development engine in industries and fields through the application of new achievements of science and technology, the application of advanced management systems and productivity improvement tools combined with research, training and fostering of human resources in line with the trend of the 4th industrial revolution. Specifically, by 2030, the foundation on science, technology and innovation will contribute to achieving the goals and increase average labor productivity over 7.5% a year; Science and Technology's contribution is over 50% to the economic growth of the province. There are 3-4 districts, towns and cities in the province that develop and implement plans to improve productivity based on science, technology and innovation. The plan sets out 5 main tasks and solutions including the deploying and implementing mechanisms and policies to promote productivity based on science, technology and innovation; the development of researches, consultancy, training and productivity support organizations; and the promotion of the application of management systems, models and tools to improve productivity in enterprises.
