According to Department of Industry and Trade, the province has 2 petroleum depots, 12 petrol and oil supply enterprises including: 2 wholesale enterprises, 9 distribution traders, 1 agent. In addition, there are also 448 petrol retail stores, 9 filling stations of LPG, 1,124 LPG retail stores, and 16 LPG agents.
As an essential commodity, the quality of petrol always receives special attention of consumers, thus Department of Industry and Trade directed functional units to enhance quality control, ensure safety of petrol oil use. At the same time, the development of petrol, LPG and oil trading establishments also complies with the State's regulations on conditional business, ensuring safety, modernity and fire explosion prevention, environmental protection. The development of business network for petroleum, LPG must ensure the rationality in the number and size of business locations in the province. The distribution network must ensure the rationality between socio-economic development needs and the ability to reserve and supply in case of emergency, ensure energy security, and contribute to the realization of socio-economic development objectives.
