According to leaders of Goldenland Company (Tan Binh Industrial Park), the restriction on gatherings in production process at their factories received much attention and was monitored by the company's leaders to ensure compliance with regulations on health safety amid the epidemic. Thuong Nguyen Wood Processing Company (Tan Uyen Town) made their own research and created more health protection options for workers and the community; updated quickly measures to prevent and fight against diseases, corrected existing "gaps" that are able to spread diseases, ensured maximum healthcare and safety for workers. The company set up their own system to disinfect whole body of employees and visitors to the company. The company reduced the number of people gathering in factories, offices, and cafeterias at once to create a safe distance, pay attention to guaranteeing food safety and hygiene. The company also encouraged and reminded employees to take measures to prevent and control the epidemic, such as hand washing, body temperature measuring, and disinfection of home.

To offer assistance to businesses

In addition to the efforts of businesses, local governments also worked closely with businesses to ensure disease control and maintain production. Tan Uyen Town has many enterprises in its area, thus has made great efforts into supporting businesses to stabilize production and ensure disease control, health safety. Doan Hong Tuoi, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Town People's Committee, Head of the Town Covid-19 prevention and control Steering Committee, directed sectors to intensify the communication of production safety measures for enterprises. “Although the Covid-19 greatly affects the production and business activities of enterprises in the area, the compliance with regulations on disease prevention and control must still be strictly done. Enterprises and production facilities having workers returning from epidemic areas must comply with the regulations on disease prevention and control; join hands with businesses to monitor and check the health of workers regularly", said Mr. Tuoi.

In order to help businesses to continue their production while ensuring health safety, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, asked the business community to continue implementing well the measures to prevent and control Covid- 19; maintain production and business activities, ensure jobs for laborers, join hands with the province to overcome the difficult period. Provincial leaders also directed Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to continue making statistics on foreign workers returning to work; assume the prime responsibility for, and collaborate with relevant agencies to urgently handle labor and employment problems in enterprises; make report on the status and solutions for managing foreign workers working in Binh Duong, especially workers from epidemic regions or moving through epidemic regions; have plans to support businesses to find alternative labor sources in case of labor shortage, foreign experts.
