Binh Duong provincial Department of Science and Technology has cooperated with the provincial Youth’s League to organize the launching ceremony of the online contest of "Learning about policies, laws and knowledge about start-up innovation in Binh Duong province in 2021" among the series of activities of the 6th Binh Duong Youth Festival of Creativity and Entrepreneurship in 2021.

The contest aims to propagate and widely disseminate the basic contents of legal documents and knowledge about entrepreneurship and innovation among students, youth members, organizations, individuals and businesses in the province. The contest focuses on new legal regulations, basic knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation, contributing to the development of startup ideas among youth unionists, and promoting the startup ecosystem in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Long, Director of Department of Science and Technology, said: "It can be seen that the online contest to learn about policies, laws and knowledge of innovation startups in Binh Duong province in 2021 has created a playground which is great and useful as the opportunities for pupils, students, youth members, organizations, individuals and businesses in the province to have more knowledge about entrepreneurship and innovation. In the coming time, Binh Duong will focus on promoting innovation and the startup ecosystem."
Mr. Long added that Binh Duong has orientated to build a constructive government by focusing on attracting and connecting resources of the whole society to participate in the construction of startups and innovation. In particular, Binh Duong will continue to strongly develop the triple helix model of the State, entrepreneurs and research institutes-schools.
Do Thi Diem Kieu, the representative of the group that won the second prize of the contest of Creative startup ideas among the youth members of Binh Duong province in 2021 from Thu Dau Mot University, said: "The contest is very meaningful to help us learn more new knowledge and participate in more competitions to experience and prepare for the future."
The contest is held online on the web portal of Department of Science and Technology at http://thitructuyen.biic.vn. To register, participants need to access and register for the contest by providing complete and accurate information required by the instructions of the Organizing Committee. The competition consists of 3 rounds of Preliminary, Semi-final, and Final from October 31, 2021 to November 27, 2021.
