The provincial People's Committee has just launched the project "Strengthening activities supporting competitiveness improvement of domestic enterprises in Binh Duong Province". Accordingly, the target of the project is to have at least 50,000 registered enterprises by 2020; Export turnover of goods and services to increase by more than 2 times compared to 2016, average export growth rate to reach 15%/year, labor productivity to increase by at least 5.3%/year. Every year, at least 3 enterprises receive national quality prizes; enterprises participate in the global supply chain in some high value added stages.
Provincial Department of Industry and Trade coordinates with relevant departments and agencies, the State Bank of Vietnam in Binh Duong, provincial Development and Investment Fund, Statistics Office, People's Committee of districts, towns and cities, trade associations to implement groups of solutions on production grounds, sources of capital; create a favorable investment environment; improve the quality of human resources, improve the competitiveness of products.
