The Tokyu Binh Duong urban area project is the joint venture between Becamex IDC and Tokyu Group of Japan, which now has 243 subsidiary companies in the fields of real estate trading, construction,…with more than 70,000 staff and annual total revenue reaching around US$20bln.

Covering nearly 71.5 hectares, the project includes around 7,500 apartments, houses, trading and entertainment facilities with a total investment capital of VND25trillion, equivalent to more than US$1.2bln. This is the biggest urban area project in Binh Duong and is also the project with the biggest FDI capital in Binh Duong so far.
According to the investor, the project will contribute to building of a beautiful city in the future and forming up a modern lifestyle towards sustainable development.
Nguyen Van Hung, CEO of Becamex IDC said that the project will be built under the Japanese style. This is a highlight of the project at requirements about a friendly living environment and is also a destination for investors to set up a business climate, showcase products and make the global business connection.
Upon its experience on urban development during 60 years, Tokyu Group will shorten the time for building the project and contribute to promoting the development of the Binh Duong new city…, said Tokyu CEO Toshiaki Koshimura. This is also the first project Tokyu Group has brought the Japanese urban development technology to Vietnam.
Regarding the project, provincial People’s Committee Chairman Le Thanh Cung said that the Tokyu Binh Duong urban-services complex project is seen as a positive change in urban development of the province and contributes to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
Hence, the local administration will make favorable conditions for the construction of the project, aiming to create a premise for the local socio-economic development in the future.
Mr.Hung said that Becamex IDC and Tokyu Group will continue researching to implement many other projects at the Binh Duong new city’s development demand in the next years. Cooperation with a big partner with experience in urban development like Tokyu will help Becamex IDC soon fulfill the project of the Binh Duong new city.
