Total retail of goods and revenue of services in Di An city reach nearly VND 50,000 billion

According to the leader of the People's Committee of Di An city, despite being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the city still strived to ensure the supply and reserve of essential goods to stabilize the market and prevent supplying disruptions and creating local commodity shortages and taking advantage of speculation and price hikes. Accordingly, in July, the total retail sales of goods and services was estimated at VND 6,384 billion, bringing the total realized value in 7 months to VND 49,994 billion, equaling 42.47% of the year plan and increasing by 1.22 % over the same period last year.

Di An city has also developed and implemented a plan to supply essential goods for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic for the people. It organized to bring essential goods from Big C to sell at Di An Post Office, Cultural Center of Tan Binh Ward. Eight fixed and mobile essential selling locations in the wards have been organized; regular monitoring of business activities has been set at 3 supermarkets and 55 convenience stores to ensure that they sell at the listed prices.
