Ben Cat Town has just held a symposium on state management of state budget revenue and expenditure in 2023 in the town.
Accordingly, the state budget expenditure has increasingly been managed closely, openly, transparently, effectively and in compliance with the laws. Measures have been strengthened to save recurrent expenses to create a source of salary reforms, to ensure social security policies, to focus on investment in infrastructure development, and to create driving force for socio-economic development of local association. In 2022, the town's total budget revenue reached over VND 2,789 billion or 114% of the estimate assigned by the province and the town's People's Council, equaling to 75% over the same period.
In 2023, Ben Cat Town will implement a self-balancing mechanism of budget revenue and expenditure to be more proactive in budget management and administration, and to determine actual resources in the area, striving for total budget revenue of VND 4,300 billion.
