By 2050, Vietnam will be a developed, high-income country with a full, synchronous, modern socialist-oriented market economy institution, an equitable, democratic and civilized society; social governance on a complete digital social platform. The economy operates according to the mode of digital economy, green economy, circular economy; Science, technology and innovation are the main growth drivers. That is the goal and general orientation in Resolution No. 81/2023/QH15 on the national master plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, signed and promulgated by the President of the National Assembly on January 9th. 2023.
According to the orientation of regional development and regional linkage in the national master plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Binh Duong is in the southern dynamic economic region including the Southeast provinces with an average GRDP growth of about 8-8.5% per year, the highest in the country. Sticking to development targets according to Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW dated October 7, 2022 of the Politburo on development of the Southeast region and Resolution No. 81/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly on master planning national period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, together with other provinces and cities in the region, Binh Duong is building and completing the master plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050 towards green, smart, sustainable urban areas.
The master plan of Binh Duong province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, focuses on the orientation of the integrated strategic framework and the development dynamic space; the current status and orientation of socio-economic development; framework for development planning... The master plan of Binh Duong province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 also shows the general goal that by 2030, Binh Duong will develop according to the model of a centrally run city, is an important growth pole of the Southern Key Economic Zone and the whole country. By 2050, Binh Duong is a smart city; modern industrial center; Asia's leading quality service center; is a civilized, livable, prosperous and sustainable environment.
On the basis of the general objective, the province's socio-economic development orientation in the master plan also mentions the pillars of growth, social security and supporting factors. Regarding the orientation of regional integration, the master plan aims to develop Binh Duong into an innovation zone with one development axis; 2 ecological corridors; 3 link belts; 4 growth partitions. In which, 4 development zones include the central urban area (Thuan An city, Di An city, Thu Dau Mot city, Ben Cat town, Tan Uyen town); satellite urban area (Bau Bang district); sub-region for ecological economic development, supporting industrial development in the Northeast (Bac Tan Uyen and Phu Giao districts), and the Northwest sub-region for eco-economic development and tourism (Dau Tieng district).
Ensuring the selective inheritance and seriously absorbing construction ideas, the master plan of Binh Duong province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 after completion will be the "guideline" for the next development orientation of the province, towards a green, smart, sustainable industrial city and a livable place as set out by the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress.
