Tet holiday is approaching, activities of goods reserve and trade at trade centers and supermarkets have ensured adequate supply in service for local residents’ shopping demand in the upcoming Tet holiday.
Busy preparation for Tet goods display
Supermarket chains such as Vinatex Mart, Citimart, Co-opmart, Metro, Hai Long, Binh Duong Center in Di An, Thu Dau Mot and Thuan An towns are busy with Tet goods display. More than 90% of products displayed at supermarkets are from prestigious companies such as Vissan, Tuyen Ky, Tuong An, Bibica, Hai Ha and so on.
Plentiful commodities are ready for Tet holiday.
According to the supermarkets and trade centers, commodities for Tet holiday are in adequate preparation. To meet local customers’ shopping demand in the upcoming Tet, Co.opmart Binh Duong has reserved 24,000 tons of essential goods, a four-fold increase from ordinary months.
Meanwhile, Vinatex Binh Duong has overwhelmed with ambience of Spring, thanks to plentiful and various commodities. Confectionary and sugar-coated fruits have been arranged in gift bags with a wide range of prices. According to Doan Thanh Phuong, director of Vinatex Binh Duong, the supermarket is in abundant preparation of Tet goods. In addition, it has actively exploited farm produce and speciality goods to satisfy the rising demand on shopping in the coming days.
Spurring service in year-end
According to the provincial department of Trade and Industry, preparation of Tet commodities has been planned since early April, 2011. Main supply source of Tet goods is from market stability programs with 30-40% of market share. Businesses joining in the market stability programs have expanded Tet goods selling locations.
As planned, aside from maintenance of business order at markets, districts and townships have arranged more goods selling locations for small traders.
It is expected that purchasing power in the upcoming Tet will double from ordinary days. Therefore, supermarkets have increased service time and employees to assist shoppers in the soonest time.
