In the afternoon of March 30, Nguyen Thanh Truc, Deputy Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with Department of Industry and Trade to hear the report on the implementation of the tasks in the first quarter of 2021 including main directions and tasks in the coming time.
According to the report of Binh Duong provincial Department of Industry and Trade, in the first quarter of 2021, the department accelerated the implementation of 6 approved projects along with collecting comments on 2 projects under construction that Binh Duong provincial People's Committee had assigned to the industry and trade. In the industrial sector, the Department actively grasped the production and business activities of commodity associations and businesses by accelerated the implementation of support for businesses affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. In the field of trade and services, the Department has implemented the guarantee of essential goods on the occasion before, during and after the Lunar New Year's Eve of 2021 in the province in parallel with strengthening Covid-19 epidemic prevention at local markets, supermarkets, trade centers etc.
For the time to come, Binh Duong provincial Department of Industry and Trade will focus on developing programs, plans, schemes, and legal documents of the sector along with implementing the e-commerce development plan for 2021-2025 in the locality. Along with that, the Department accelerated the program to support businesses in the field of trade promotion and industrial development.
On the occasion, Binh Duong provincial Department of Industry and Trade proposed to Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee the decisions on development of industrial clusters and commercial infrastructure.
