In 2019, the town’s total retail sales revenue of commodities and services was more than VND31trillion, up nearly 30% compared to the same period last year. The town also granted business registration certificates to 1,841 individual business households with a total registered capital of nearly VND700billion, bringing the total number of such households so far to 34.254 with a total registered capital of more than VND7.6trillion.

The town’s trade-service infrastructure system has been upgraded with the quality of services enhanced and thriving in terms of services, absorbing the participation of economic sectors. The town has also paid more attention to socialization in trade infrastructure; tightened control over the market, opportunely handled wrong cases, contributing to the local market stabilization.
For the local trade-service sector gaining better development, the town needs to absorb investors with modern business methods, making market expansion from urban to rural areas. In the coming time, the town will further perfect the local market, supermarket, trade center system under the plan approved by provincial People’s Committee. The town will also focus on fostering the local market system towards modernity and civilization while promoting support services for enterprises, creating a harmonious connection between traditional and e-business forms synchronously and modernly.
