According to a report of Binh Duong provincial Department of Transportation, the transportation and warehousing activities in April 2021 in the province remained stable and increased significantly over the same period. In order to maintain the effectiveness of traffic safety and order, focal inspection, especially measures to the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, have been implemented by functional forces according to regulations in order to best serve the travel needs of the people.
Accordingly, revenue from transportation and warehousing activities in April 2021 was estimated at VND 2,067 billion, increasing by 2% from the previous month. Of the revenue, passenger transportation revenue reached VND 66.91 billion, increasing by 2.16%; freight transportation reached VND 811 billion, increasing by 1.6%; warehousing and transportation support services reached VND 1,189 billion, increasing by 2.23% over the previous month. Accumulated in the first 4 months of 2021, revenue from transportation and warehousing activities reached VND 8,366.5 billion, increasing by 7.9% over the same period, in which, the state economy reached VND 463.9 billion, increasing by 8.1%; private economy reached VND 5,118 billion, increasing by 7.3%; foreign-invested economy reached VND 2,473.14 billion, increasing by 9.7% over the same period.
