The closing ceremony of the Southern Fruit Festival 2015 has just taken place at Suoi Tien cultural park in HCM city.
At the ceremony, the organizers awarded 3 gold medals, 5 bronze medals to excellent artisans at the festival’s fruit arrangement contest. Of these, two bronzes went to artisan Nguyen Hoang Duy of TDM city’s Hiep An ward with the fruit artwork of “Dat nuoc tron niem vui” (The country with full joy) and artisan Nguyen Minh Thuan of TDM city’s Tuong Binh Hiep ward with the fruit artwork of “Vi anh hung dan toc” (National hero).
More than 400 tons of fruit were sold during the 20-day festival, contributing to creating a bridge between farmer households and visitors at home and abroad.
The delicious and safe fruit contests also absorbed 625 farmer households from 14 provinces and cities nationwide. Finally, the organizers awarded 94 prizes for delicious fruits and 6 prizes for strange fruits from participating farmers, including 3 from Binh Duong.
The organizers also gave the “Sac mau Suoi Tien” (Colors of Suoi Tien) award for beautiful photos about the annual Southern Fruit festival at Suoi Tien cultural park for professional and amateur photographers.
