*U&I Group marks its 18th anniversary
Late April 15, U&I Logistics Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to inaugurate its bonded warehouse No.7 of more than 30,000 square meters. Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Mai The Trung, Head of provincial NA delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

On Jan.26, 2007, U&I Group opened its bonded warehouse No.1 of 39.600 square meters. So far, the group’s bonded warehouse No.7 has continued being put into operation, bringing its total area of bonded warehouses to 178,851 square meters. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, General Director of the group said that the group’s bonded warehouse system has been built with the state-of-the-art equipment and advanced technologies. This is also the biggest concentrated bonded warehouse system in Vietnam. As part of its development strategy till 2020, U&I Logistics will supply a chain of 3PL services and aim at 4PL services in the next 10 years.
On this occasion, U&I Group also celebrated 18 years of its development. Mai Huu Tin, CEO of the group reviewed the group’s development during the past 18 years and said that its success came from the attention and help of the local authorities at all levels…
