Efforts to prove themselves
Logistics fees in Vietnam are currently much higher than other regions and the world. This is the competition pressure and an important challenge that logistics providers must overcome to dominate the market while lacking experiences and management skills. U&I Logistics was initially a province-based enterprise providing freight, customs declaration services under the brand name of Unico Ltd. With increasing customer loyalty, the company introduced a new member that is specialized in transportation, warehousing, import and export procedures, thereby, forming an important foundation of the development of a chain service of logistics later.

Reaching out to major markets
Bonded warehousing is one main activity of U&I Logistics. From bonded warehouse no. 1 with an area of 39,600m2 inaugurated on Jan 2007, U&I Logistics has now 7 bonded warehouses with a total floor area of 178,851m2, on an area of approximately 30 ha. All warehouses are equipped with racking systems with multiple floors, thus total storage area of the warehouse system reaches approximately 1,100,000m2.
To protect well customer’s goods, U&I Logistics warehouses were equipped with smart air-conditioners, goods are managed by barcode software helping customers in controlling goods and tracking process anytime, anywhere via mobile devices…, saving customers many time and costs.
Besides, U&I Logistics also owns a transport unit consists of 40 tractors, 200 trailers with journey monitoring devices and average transport volume of 10,000 containers / month. The company is also the transportation agent of 16 major domestic and international airlines as well as freight services meeting international standards.

Building a nation-level logistics center
In order to survive and develop in an international fierce competition, U&I Logistics has applied the most advanced technologies. Under the development strategy till 2020, U&I Logistics will become a company providing an all-in chain of logistics services in the form 3PL and is reaching towards 4PL in the next 10 years.
In 2016, U&I Logistics will develop a nation-level logistics center serving the Southeast region and Ho Chi Minh City in Binh Duong under the master plan approved by Prime Minister. The total area of this center is 75 ha.

U&I Logistics achieves -TPAT Certification of US Customs
Goods exported to the US market must ensure not only quality standards but also security and safety. Any imported shipment into this market must pass security checks.
U&I Logistics bonded warehouse system achieved and maintained C-TPAT standards. With this certification, customers' goods will faster finish customs clearance without customs checks, thus customers can save a lot of time and increase competitiveness.
