On July 21, the provincial party committee vice secretary Nguyen Huu Tu paid a working visit to Phu Giao district-based An Thai hi-tech agriculture area invested by U&I Agriculture JSC (Unifarm).

A rep of Unifarm said that An Thai hi-tech agriculture area is located on an area of nearly 412ha and launched since 2010. Applying Israel’s hi-tech into cultivation field, Unifarm has thus far developed growing of some fruits such as honeydew melons, citrus fruits and so on.
With products under VietGAP and Global Gap standards, the company’s products have appeared across domestic market. Aside from the domestic market, the company’s products such as banana, honeydew melon are exported to Japan, Korea and so on.
At the working session, the provincial party committee vice secretary Nguyen Huu Tu highly appreciated initial efficiency of An Thai hi-tech agriculture area and stressed that Unifarm should uphold hi-tech application to improve productive efficiency, contributing to create jobs for local people as well as transfer technique and technology for local farmers for the sake of developing agricultural industry sustainably and stably.
