Binh Duong always stands side by side with enterprises
On October 4, a delegation of Binh Duong province, led by Vo Van Minh, Vice- Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee attended a seminar on investment attraction in Utah State of the US. The event was attended by Le Thi Hai Van, Economic Counselor in charge of foreign investment, Vietnamese Embassy in the US; Jonathan Freedman, President, General Director of the World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah).
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Minh said that in recent years, Binh Duong has always been one of Vietnam’s leading localities in FDI attraction. In the first 9 months of 2023 alone, the province attracted nearly US$ 1.3 billion in FDI capital. The whole province, as of September 15, lured more than 4,160 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with total registered capital of more than US$ 40 billion. Binh Duong currently ranks 2nd nationwide in FDI attraction, after Ho Chi Minh city, with 135 US projects capitalized at more than US$ 1.3 billion.
Mr. Minh spoke highly the potential of US investors while wanting that US enterprises will invest in such fields as high-tech, auxiliary industries, information technology, high-tech agriculture, and construction investment, infrastructure development, human resource training and development... that Binh Duong province is giving priority to.
He expressed his belief that US businesses’ strong points in technology, finance, international market network and business management skills when being combined with the advantages of Binh Duong, will brings great benefits to both sides while emphasizing that Binh Duong always stands side by side with businesses, creating the most favorable conditions for production and business activities of investors, including US ones.
