Around 800 construction firms
from 18 countries and territories are in attendance at the Vietbuild
exhibition, the second of its kind in 2013, which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on
August 14. 
As many as 2,160 booths showcase building materials produced by China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Germany, France, Malaysia, Vietnam and others.
Local real estate firms participating in the event introduce incentives for homebuyers.
During the event, the organising board will present Vtopbuild cups and medals to those enterprises with high-class products.
The five-day exhibition also includes several symposia on environmentally friendly building products, such as decorative materials, fresh water and nanotechnology plastics.
This year’s first Vietbuild, the largest national construction exhibition of 2013, was held in Ho Chi Minh city from June 13-17.
