Sept. 1, 2014 will celebrate 15th anniversary of founding and developing Binh Duong branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam - Vietcombank. After 15 years of efforts (Sept. 1, 1999-2014), Vietcombank Binh Duong has made efforts to develop on all areas, contributing to create a good impression on clients. Vietcombank Binh Duong always finalizes business goals, contributing positively to local economic growth and well implementing social responsibilities through activities of social welfare and community development.
On the first stage of development, Vietcombank Binh Duong faced many difficulties. However, Vietcombank Binh Duong always received enthusiastic instruction and support of local authorities at all levels as well as of Vietcombank's main office and more importantly cooperation of clients, helping Vietcombank Binh Duong develop strongly.

In early 2007, Vietcombank was separated and set up newly Vietcombank South Binh Duong.
In 2014, Vietcombank was separated and set up newly Vietcombank North Binh Duong.
As of late June, 2014, Vietcombank reached VND10,800bil in total capital and 77.4%/year in average growth pace. Rate of bad debt of this branch won 1.86% and international payment sale was at US$1.4bil for the whole of the year.
Business attached to social responsibility
One of secrets bringing success for Vietcombank Binh Duong lies in client care work. Accordingly, ideas of clients are always listened to and solved timely. Therefore, the number of clients of this bank always increases highly. Until now, Vietcombank Binh Duong has set up relations with 3,000 enterprises and 350,000 individuals.
Despite the global economic recession, Vietcombank Binh Duong made efforts to launch many measures relating to supporting clients, improving quality of service and competitive capacity. Accordingly, implementing the Government's instruction of solving difficulties of production and business, supporting market and solving bad debts", this branch actively cut interest rates for clients. In 2012 and 2013 alone, this branch decreased interest rates for clients with the total value of VND192bil.
With the motto of "business attached to social responsibility", Vietcombank Binh Duong always well implement activities of community development. From 2011-2013, this branch spent over VND3bil for social welfare work. Specifically, this branch granted 45 hi-unity, charity and gratitude houses to privileged and poor people, donated 1,500 scholarships to poor students, took care of 3 heroic mothers and more. These significant deeds were responded by 100% of the branch's cadres, employees.
With its efforts and achievements, Vietcombank Binh Duong has spared no efforts to deserve the title of Vietnam's sole and first bank being listed into the world's top 500 banks.
