On 3 Dec, TDM City People's Committee and Vietcombank Binh Duong signed a non-cash payment cooperation agreement. At the signing ceremony, there were Nguyen Van Dong, Provincial Party Standing Committee Member, Secretary of TDM City Party Committee; Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Vo Dinh Phong, Director of State Bank of Vietnam - Binh Duong province branch; and representatives of related departments and branches.
According to the agreement, the parties will provide non-cash payment services to units under the management of TDM City People's Committee in the coming time, creating the convenience for agencies, units and people in the non-cash payment, collection of fees and charges of public services, improving the administrative reform index.
Previously, Provincial People's Committee made a decision on the implementation of non-cash payment for administrative procedures. Accordingly, the decision approved the opening and using common bank accounts for provincial departments and people's committees at district and city levels to receive payment of public service fees and charges; at the same time, it allows payment intermediaries, like: VNPAY, VNPT Pay, Momo... to participate in the payment of public service fees and charges together with Vietcombank and Vietinbank.
