In the afternoon of January 5, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Binh Duong Branch (Vietcombank Binh Duong) held a meeting to receive Second Labor Decoration awarded by State President, marking business operation sum-up in 2011.
Attending the ceremony were Party Commissioner, cum Provincial Party Committee Secretary Mai The Trung, Provincial People’s Committee Deputy Chairman Tran Thanh Liem, veteran revolutionists, representatives of Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces, sectors, enterprises, and loyal clients.
After 12 years of establishment and operation, Vietcombank Binh Duong has been extended to wide range of customers. By the end of 2011, over 7,300 billion VND has been deposited in the bank; loans were accounted for 13,777 billion VND with recovery of 13,311 billion and outstanding balance of 5,620 billion, foreign liquidity of 1.125 billion USD, and budget contribution of 8.5 billion VND.
Besides, Vietcombank Binh Duong also engaged in charity work for the past 5 years, contributing over 3.2 billion to social charity drives.
