On the afternoon of July 11, at the WTC Expo International Center (Thu Dau Mot city), the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Advertising Festival 2024 and the Vietnam Advertising and Communication Forum 2024 took place. Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ms. Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Binh Duong province, along with over 600 delegates from government agencies, organizations, businesses, and experts in the field.
At the opening ceremony, Mrs. Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized the strong development of Vietnam's cultural industries, which contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the country. From 2018 to 2022, the value of production in these cultural industries is estimated to reach 1,059 trillion dong, with an average annual growth rate of nearly 7.2%. Meanwhile, the advertising industry has become one of the important service sectors, developing strongly, making positive contributions to the country's economic growth and employment. The Deputy Minister also highly appreciates the role of the Vietnam Advertising Association in coordinating, advising and improving the system of mechanisms and policies on advertising management.
At the opening ceremony, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Vietnam Advertising Association and the Federation of Advertising Associations of South Korea, and between the Vietnam Advertising Association and the Advertising Association of China.
