Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2015 (Vietnam Foodexpo 2015) has been held at Sai Gon Fair and Exhibition Center since May 13-16. The event - which has the theme "At the heart of Asia food inspiration" - was expected to be an efficient tool for Vietnamese firms to influence consumer perceptions towards food products of Vietnamese origin.
The exhibition attracts the participation of more than 250 Vietnamese enterprises from 36 provinces and cities nationwide with over 420 stalls.
In addition, the event lures 50 enterprises from 19 nations and territories such as India, Belgium, Cuba, Taiwan, Netherlands, Korea, Italia, France, Russia, Japan and more. Binh Duong provincial administration also sends a representative company to the event.
Vietnam Foodexpo 2015 is estimated to welcome about 30,000 visitors during the exhibition. Many delegations of entrepreneurs from Korea, Kuwait, Japan, Zech Republic, Singapore and so on will seek out business opportunities with Vietnamese enterprises.
There will be seminars and trade promotion meetings at the event. They include Korean market access seminar, visits to big food processors in HCMC and Binh Duong and more.
