“Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnamese goods” mobilization spreads deeply into people’s awareness

It is affirmed by Huynh Van Nhi, chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee cum head of the steering board of “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnamese goods” mobilization.

Huynh Van Nhi said that over the past 5 years (2009-2014), spreading of this mobilization really goes into life, creating local people’s habit of shopping and using Vietnamese commodities.

How was the “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnamese goods” mobilization implemented over the past years, sir?

Implementing the provincial party committee and the provincial People’s Committee’s tasks, the steering board of “Vietnamese give priority to use 

Vietnamese goods” mobilization built operational plans and held disseminations on this mobilization to cadres, party members and people in a bid to help them be adequately aware of responsibility, rights and interests of using domestic goods.

Annually, every member of this steering board is assigned to map out detailed plans and implement their tasks. Accordingly, tasks are focused on reserving goods for the coming Tet holiday. In addition, the steering board and localities as well as enterprises hold market-days to cater for workers of some industrial parks and compounds and people in rural areas.

Considering the mobilization as a significant and important deed, the steering board at all levels concentrates on implementing dissemination and mobilization by various, flexible and proper forms in an attempt to urge people to implement thrift practice and waste fighting, contributing to firmly keep living stability, production and business development and creating a strong internal force.

Through disseminations and mobilizations, cadres, public servants well learn significance and importance of this mobilization. Many units such as the local department of Trade and Industry, Labor Union, Farmer’s Society, Women Union, Youth Union organize numerous promulgation campaigns in combination with patriotic emulation movements, cultural and artistic activities to create good habits of shopping and goods usage for local residents.

What most positive change is created in this mobilization, sir?

The most positive change after 5 years of implementing this mobilization lies in improved awareness of local people. In reality, purchase power of Vietnamese goods in rural areas becomes more lively and psychology of using domestic commodities becomes habit of local consumers, cadres and party members.

From this mobilization, Vietnamese goods are loved by people, especially laborers. In addition, taste of consumers, marketing work, distribution expansion across rural areas and industrial parks as well as populous areas are focused on. Thenceforth, quality and patterns of products meet local consumers’ demand.

Through the program of price stability, maintaining and bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas, industrial parks contribute to create positive results. Especially, economic sectors’ cooperation in this mobilization helps to take it into real life. As of Oct. 2014, the program of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas and industrial parks was successfully held with the turnover of VND30.435bil. On average, every market-day has 30 enterprises with 50 stalls serving for about 10,000 visitors and shoppers.

These results are thanks to cooperation and effort of all level authorities, mass bodies and enterprises. This mobilization not only improves enterprises’ responsible awareness for consumers but help businesses expand marker share, contributing to spur domestic production, prevent economic recession and ensure social welfare.

What plans will the steering board set out in the coming time promote efficiency of this mobilization, sir?

In the coming time, the steering board of this mobilization continues to give useful advices for the provincial party committee, action plans on launching this mobilization. Accordingly, the steering board will focus on widely disseminating this mobilization to residential areas and households as well as political and social mass bodies in a bid to set out detailed slogans to launch this mobilization effectively.

Additionally, the steering board gives useful advices to the provincial People’s Committee to issue plans on market stability, creating a sustainable economic development.

The steering board continues to launch 4 tasks and solutions of implementing the mobilization in line with the Politburo’s Conclusion No.264-TB/TW dated July 31, 2009. These tasks include improving role and responsibility of all level agencies, sectors, units, mass bodies as well as enterprises and consumers; spurring inspections of executing the mobilization at grassroots level; pushing up the work on trade fraud, smuggling control and among others.

The steering board also continues to well execute this mobilization at agencies and mass bodies at all levels; accelerate mobilizations to increase cadres, party members’ awareness on daily consumption and more.

The local administration will also implement measures of bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas and traditional markets as well as promoting efficiency of night market areas and enhancing local consumers’ awareness on using high quality Vietnamese commodities.
