"Vietnam's economy in the face of changes in the world"

That was the topic of a lecture by Professor Tran Van Tho - Emeritus Professor of Waseda University in Japan’s Tokyo held at Eastern International University (EIU) on the morning of November 30.

The lecture attracted the participation of a large number of lecturers and students from universities, including University of Economics and Law (National University of Ho Chi Minh City), Thu Dau Mot University, Hoa Sen University, Ho Chi Minh City’s University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Finance and Marketing, University of Economics, University of Industry, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (National University of Ho Chi Minh city) and leaders of faculties, units, departments and centers of EIU, Becamex IDC, TDC, VNTT, VNTT Solutions, DynaPack Asia, U&I Logistics, WTC Binh Duong, Becamex Tokyu, H123 Edu.

At the lecture, Prof.- Dr. Tran Van Tho analyzed the Vietnamese economy in the face of changes in the world through the following contents: Looking at Vietnam from the world around us; What are the world's changes, new trends? And how do they work?; Vietnam today and looking to 2045; strategies and policies to have a solid economy with industrialization and agricultural development; issues on human resource training. Delegates, lecturers and students also discussed issues drawn from the lecture.

Organized by EIU, the event aimed at promoting academic activities and scientific research; expanding the cooperation network, especially with highly reputable Vietnamese scientists working at domestic and foreign universities while expanding understanding and learning, researching new knowledge, urgent issues in the fields of economy - society, science - technology, education and training.
