The Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair 2017 (VIMF 2017) officially opened at Binh Duong province’s Convention-Exhibition Center yesterday, in attendance of Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

The fair features more than 250 pavilions representing firms from Vietnam, Singapore, Japan, the Republic of Korea, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, the United States, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy, Germany and Australia.
Most booths are showcasing and introducing modern tools and equipment, the latest trends of machine tools and metalworking machinery, measurement and measurement tools, three-dimensional (3D) printing, software for manufacturing activities and a system of tools helping to ensure optimal productivity and operational efficiency in manufacturing and metalworking industries…
Some other activities are also being held on the fringes of the exhibition, including a business connecting program and symposiums on automation solutions, production links and 3D printing and design, with speeches given by Vietnamese and international experts.
The three-day fair is co-held by the Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), the Singapore Industrial Automation Association (SIAA), the HCM city Association of Mechanical Engineering (HAME), the Japan Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) together with some sectors, departments of Binh Duong province.
