Early April 24, Vina Kraft Paper Co.Ltd. held a ceremony to inaugurate its second factory at the My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park.
Attending the ceremony were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council.The second factory is capable of generating 500,000 tons of products a year under the global standard technology.
It is known that Vina Kraft Paper Co.Ltd. is one of the leading paper manufacturers in Vietnam. This is a joint venture between Siam Kraft Industry Co.Ltd. under Thailand’s SCG Packaging Group and Japan’s Rengo Co., with total investment capital of US$330million and total area of 38 hectares.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem emphasized that the birth of the second factory has continued proving the company’s long-tem investment determination in Binh Duong. He also spoke highly the company’s expanded project. With existing potentials plus experience in production-business, he believed that the company will continue working effectively and reach successes in the future while hoping that it will introduce Binh Duong’s favorable investment climate to other investors, especially Thai and Japanese ones.
