Early December 14, Vietnam Soya Products Company (Vinasoy) under Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to mark its 20th anniversary and inaugurate its 3rd plant in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP 2A). Attending the event were Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
Covering 8.5 hectares, the plant has total investment of more than US$900bln with the annual capacity of 180 million liters of soy milk. Its phase 1 with the annual capacity of 90 million liters of soy milk was put into operation in November, 2016.
All the three plants of Vinasoy in Binh Duong, Quang Ngai and Bac Ninh will help the company reach supply capacity of 390 million liters of canned soy milk per year, supplying nearly 2 billion dairy products per year and accounting for 84.2% of domestic market share.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Liem applauded achievements done by Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Company and Vinasoy over the past time while stressing that the province will create favorable conditions for investors to effectively implement their projects.
It is known that on this occasion, Vinasoy also donated VND20billion to the Study Encouragement Fund of Vinasoy (photo), increasing the fund’s total value of assets to VND40billion.
