Vinh Loi of today is no longer image of devastation of wars. Vinh Loi war-base of yore now becomes one of attractive destinations of local and foreign investors.

Vinh Loi of yore belonged to Chau Thanh district, Thu Dau Mot province (now hamlet 3, Vinh Tan commune, Tan Uyen town) had 3 big jungles of Cay Bong, So Tieu and Thay Cai. Vinh Loi war-zone included Vinh Tan commune and part of Tan Binh and Binh My communes. This war-zone was founded in 1946 and selected as center of the war-zone.
This was also one of locations of forming up a big force including key soldier, integrated guerilla, commune and hamlet guerilla. In addition, Vinh Loi was a logistics area and bridge between Thuan An Hoa war-base in Thuan An town, Đ war-zone, Long Nguyen war-zone and more. In many years, Vinh Loi was very deserted.
After the Southern liberation day, Vinh Loi war-zone becomes one of locations under strong economic development in Tan Uyen town.
Trust in new day
About 10 years ago, Vinh Tan was an agricultural commune. However, development of the industry-service-urban complex contributes to spur communal economic growth. And, Vinh Tan rapidly becomes outskirts of Binh Duong New City with many advantaged conditions of economic development. Investors constantly flock to the locality for investment projects. This creates a transfer of economic structure from agriculture to industry and service.
In terms of industry, aside from the provincial industrial parks, Vinh Tan commune now has 25 small and medium companies under operation. The commune has 164 business households.
Apart from industry and agriculture, collective economy in Vinh Tan also promotes its role. The commune now has one cooperative specializing in goods transport and 3 teams of agricultural production. These cooperatives and teams bring tens of billions of dong per year, placing stable jobs for people.
At present, Tan Uyen industry-service-urban area has promoted its role and socio-economic efficiency for Vinh Tan. As many as 58 investors register to implement projects in this area. Doan Minh Tuan, vice chairman of Vinh Tan commune People’s Committee said that promoting tradition of ancestors plus attention of all level authorities and local advnatges, Vinh Tan will in the coming time create a gigantic development, deserving a heroic land of Vinh Loi war-zone of yore.
