In 2018, Bau Bang district’s Farmers Support Fund has mobilized VND279million or 164% of the set target. The fund has so far amounted to nearly VND1.9billion.
The district’s Farmers Association also coordinated with the local branch of the Bank for Social Policies to consider and disburse more than VND12billion for 305 households, bringing the branch’s total outstanding loans so far to more than VND74billion. In addition, the association will work with relevant units to organize 13 vocational training classes for 369 learners or 127% of the set target.
Last year, the district had a total of 3,560 households winning the “good farmer in production-business” title at all levels. The local Farmers’ Association mobilized well-off farmers to support more than 122 working days of more than VND437.2million, 56 tons of fertilizer under the deferred payment, 3,040 nurslings and 8,700 breeding animals for 178 poor households to develop economic models.
