On the afternoon of January 2, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) coordinated with its branch in Binh Duong province to hold a ceremony to announce the Decision to reappoint the position of Director of the SBV - Binh Duong Branch. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Danh, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, by order of the SBV Governor, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director General of the SBV’s Organization and Personnel Department handed over the SBV Governor’s Decision to reappoint Vo Dinh Phong as Director of the SBV- Binh Duong Branch from December 15, 2023. The term of office is five years from the effective date of the appointment decision.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Danh praised the efforts and results done by Mr. Phong over the past time. He said that Binh Duong has an increasing number of credit institutions and a growing scale of banking activities. Therefore, he proposed that after receiving the reappointment decision, Mr. Phong and the entire Board of Directors of the SBV- Binh Duong Branch immediately start work, well performing the assigned responsibilities and tasks; coordinate with provincial departments, sectors to implement banking sector’s policies and handle problems that arise in practice; act as a focal point to connect, urge and supervise the activities of credit institutions; effectively implement monetary and credit solutions of the Government, the SBV, Binh Duong province...
