The prolonged global economic downturn plus high domestic inflation has hindered enterprises’ production and trading activities. Thanks to its proper strategies, VRG Khai Hoan JSC has constantly risen up for sustainable development.
Choosy clients get satisfaction
VRG Khai Hoan Joint Stock Company (JSC), which is specialized in latex gloves, made its debut in Ben Cat district’s Lai Uyen commune in the witness of former President Nguyen Minh Triet, the Consul General of United Kingdom in HCM city, leaders of the Vietnam Rubber Corporation and Binh Duong province on August 14.
Also during the event, the JSC received the ISO 9001 certificate on quality management, the ISO 13485 on health equipment quality and the ISO 22000 on food safety.

JSC said that the JSC has been granted permanent import permits to the two
choosy markets of US and EU. The Ministry of Health has also granted license
for all products manufactured by the JSC.

Growth in difficulty
Established in 2006, Khai Hoan JSC was the precursor of VRG Khai Hoan JSC. Khai Hoan JSC was set up when Vietnam’s rubber industry was on strong development momentum with many potentials and opportunities. But, the JSC constantly faced challenges, due to competitiveness’s pressure from the global economic downturn plus high domestic inflation.
For sustainable development, Khai Hoan JSC has voluntarily linked with the Vietnam Rubber Corporation and has become a member of VRC with the new name “VRC Khai Hoan”. This linkage has helped the JSC officially step over its difficult period, rising up on a new way.
Sustainable development
VRG Khai Hoan JSC now has 1,061 staff. In 2012, the JSC’s revenue is estimated at VND800bln; profit at VND31.6bln, equivalent to 16.5% of charter capital.
The JSC will also raise its capacity to 16 production lines from 12 ones with a total output from of 3.2 bln various gloves. It is expected that the JSC will put its 3rd factory into operation by 2015, bringing its capacity to 5 bln products a year.
Thanks to good management, Khai Hoan JSC has taken fruits in production and trading activities. Manpower is always considered as key to the success of the JSC. Hence, the JSC has over time taken good care of laborers’ spiritual and material lives by many practical activities, including building tenement houses, organizing cultural-sports events, opening classes...
Tran Van Nam, vice-chairman of provincial People’s Committee also applauded the JSC’s achievements done over the past time and said that provincial leaders would make favorable conditions for the JSC to further go up.
