So far, the whole province has had a total of 1,068 farmsteads with more than 10,698 hectares, comprising of 518 on animal husbandry, 542 on cultivation and 8 with general activities.
Most farmsteads are mainly in Bau Bang, Dau Tieng and North Tan Uyen. Each farmstead has around 6 laborers with the average area for planting perennial trees of 31 hectares.
Under the criteria of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, each cultivation farmstead is more than 3 hectares with the annual revenue of VND700million. For animal husbandry, each farmstead must reach the annual revenue of more than VND1billion. Binh Duong’s farmstead economy has developed in the right direction in recent years.
