Among 114 cooperatives in the province, there are 31 on industry and trade, including 10 on home industry and 21 on trade-services.
So far. 6 out of 10 cooperatives on home industry have changed and worked under the Cooperative Act 2012. Some cooperatives on home industry, namely Phuoc Thanh, Toan Luc…have also made expansion and applied advanced standards into production with economic high efficiency.
In terms of trade-services, 12 out of 21 cooperatives have switched and operated under the Cooperative Act 2012. Their main scopes are to purchase, process and consume rubber latex with the average income of regular laborers reaching VND5million-VND5.5million per person per month.
For cooperatives on home industry, the province will further improve the operational effectiveness and scale of existing cooperatives while setting up new cooperatives in the fields with advantages; associate cooperatives with programs on industrial promotion, industrial and rural modernization for home industry development in industrial compounds and rural areas. Whilst, for cooperatives on trade-services, the province will further strengthen existing cooperatives and step by step promote cooperatives that are attractive to individual business households in townships, towns and residential areas to better meet locals’ diversified needs.
