Sharing difficulties with farmers
The agricultural insurance is to support farmers to improve and compensate financial losses caused by natural calamity, epidemic disease and to contribute to social welfare assurance and agricultural production promotion.
Accordingly, the State supports 100% of premium for needy farmers, 80% for sub-poor farmers and 20% for agricultural production bodies. The supports will help farmers feel secure in production.
Along with policies of agricultural land tax exemption and reduction, farmers’ production has been under supports on all areas to decline difficulties in production and improve their income.
Significant policy for farmers
This is a new policy winning a great attention from many people. After receiving the Decision and Circular 47 on guiding implementation of the decision, the provincial department of Agriculture and Rural Development has set up a steering board and selected 3 pilot districts of Dau Tieng, Ben Cat and Tan Uyen. This is also 3 localities having a large quantity of poultry and cattle.
Nguyen Huu Nhiem from Hiep Luc pig breeding cooperative in Tan Uyen district, said the policy surely helps farmers ease difficulties and reach high profits.
In addition, the policy positively contributes to spur local animal husbandry sector’s development.
